Science of the Mind
This unique Summer Abroad program will be taught by three University of Bologna faculty members with expertise in each key area of the course. A UC Davis faculty member will provide oversight and act as the faculty of record.

In addition to her academic appointment, Simona Ghetti is a faculty member in the UC Davis Center for Mind and Brain. She is also a member of a number of professional organizations, including the American Psychological Association, the Association for Psychological Science, the Cognitive Development Society, the Cognitive Neuroscience Society, the Society for Neuroscience and the Society for Research in Child Development.
Caterina Bertini

Department of Psychology
Dr. Caterina Bertini is an Associate Professor of Neuropsychological Rehabilitation at the Department of Psychology of the University of Bologna. Her research is mainly focused on the cognitive mechanisms and the neural basis underlying conscious and unconscious visual processing, both in neurologically intact individuals and in brain-damaged patients. Her interests also include the rehabilitation of visual field defects in brain-injuried populations. She is enthusiastic to discuss scientific views with students and look forward to welcoming the students of the Science of the Mind program.
