Peer Ambassador
Hello! My name is Katrina Martins Guilherme. I’m a third-year student majoring in cognitive science and minoring in education and human development. I was born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil, where I had the opportunity to study in an international school, allowing me to pursue my bachelor's degree in the US. I really enjoy reading either romance or thrillers and watching series. Here at UC Davis, I have been involved in the Portuguese club as well as serving my time as a resident advisor.
I have learned the importance of curiosity and respect, especially within global learning. I have previously worked with the Global Engagement Opportunities LLC, where I met some incredible people and learned so much. This year, I hope to learn more and to spread a little bit of my knowledge, not only about my culture, but also about all the opportunities that UC Davis has to offer.
