Hi! I’m Vera (they/she), a UC Davis alum (English, ’20) and Student Services and Enrollment Coordinator at the Global Learning Hub. As a former first-gen, transfer and foster youth student, I know how important it is to feel supported.

In my role, I provide enrollment support for faculty-led study abroad programs and student support. Outside of my role, I was a 2024–25 NAFSA RISE Fellow and currently serve on the Region XII Northern District team. I’ve also presented at conferences on improving first-gen student engagement and support in international education.

I’m committed to supporting students from under-resourced backgrounds and making global learning opportunities welcoming and achievable for all.
