Amaya Lewis, a first-gen student majoring in animal science and wildlife, fish, and conservation biology, spent two transformative weeks in South Africa through Loop Abroad’s Zoo Medicine program. Gaining hands-on vet experience while engaging with local conservation efforts and South African culture, Amaya deepened her passion for wildlife medicine and global learning.

Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) National Internship Program
The HACU National Internship Program fall session is for 15 weeks with placement at federal agencies in Washington, D.C., field offices nationwide or remotely. Internships are available to currently enrolled undergraduate, graduate and recently graduated students in any major. Deadline: July 15.

UC Davis Climate Action Fellows
Climate Action Fellows are mentored by sustainability staff professionals to contribute to a variety of new and ongoing projects and activities in support of the campus' sustainability priorities guided heavily by the priorities and policy recommendations provided in the UC Policy on Sustainable Practices.
