Each UC Davis Summer Abroad Internship program pairs UC Davis Study Abroad with a partner organization that manages the personalized internship placements; arranges accommodations and excursions; leads onsite orientations and optional social events; and provides 24/7 emergency support. As part of the placement process for Summer Internships, participants will first enroll through UC Davis Study Abroad and then complete a supplemental application for the partner organization associated with their particular Summer Internship program.

Summer Internships in Japan - Cost

The UC Davis Summer Abroad program offers financial aid eligibility and provides detailed program fees, which cover accommodation, meals for welcome and farewell dinners, activities, and support, while outlining personal expense estimates and items not covered by the fees.

Summer Internships in Hong Kong - Cost

UC Davis Summer Abroad Internship program fees include shared accommodations, a welcome meal, airport transportation, health insurance, and support services, but exclude airfare and personal expenses. Financial aid can be applied to tuition, and students should check cancellation policies for potential fees.

The UC Davis Summer Abroad program includes essential orientation sessions, travel arrangements, entry requirements, insurance coverage, and specific considerations for LGBTQIA+ travelers, emphasizing participant responsibility for travel logistics and visa requirements, along with the provision of necessary support and resources.
