Learn more about the Global Grad Grants, an opportunity for UC Davis graduate and professional students to receive funding to participate in a globally-focused social impact program or research opportunity in summer 2025.
UC Davis students used Critical Language Scholarships to study languages like Indonesian and Arabic abroad, enriching their fluency and cultural understanding through immersive summer programs. Since 2007, these scholarships have enabled 45 students to gain academic insights and global perspectives by experiencing new cultures firsthand.
“We want to give UC Davis overall a chance to get more involved with Italy,” said Eivind Lange III ’77. “Increasing the international exposure of students helps them to not only get their degree, but to experience another part of the world.”
The Global Learning Hub offers a variety of programming that is accessible to graduate and professional students on campus, abroad and virtually.
Global Impact Fellows The Global Impact Fellows program is a one-year commitment to leading or assisting a student-led community impact initiative that addresses a global+local challenge where students can hone project management, leadership and field-specific skills in a collaborative environment.
